About Me
My Background
Before moving to the U.S., I was a full-time Latin dance and Zumba instructor in Saigon, Vietnam. I ran a successful dance studio and held various administrative positions. In 2016, I decided to start afresh in the U.S., pursuing a degree in Computer Science while teaching dance part-time in Orange County, Long Beach, and Los Angeles. I also trained under renowned dance masters from around the world.
My Dance Life
I am currently privileged to be a part of Bonito y Sabroso Pro Dance Company based in LA. Additionally, I hold the role of a resident instructor at OC Salsa in Costa Mesa. At OC Salsa, I am responsible for designing and leading the Advanced class program for adults. I thoroughly enjoy teaching group classes and providing private coaching to students who are seeking individualized improvement and growth in their dance skills.
My Engineer Life
Recently, I proudly graduated from CSULB in May 2023, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. One of the highlights of my academic journey was the completion of my senior project. Collaborating closely with a team of five talented individuals, we successfully developed a Single Page Web App utilizing the Microsoft technology stack. This experience further solidified my passion for software development and strengthened my technical skills.
Currently, I am eagerly seeking a full-time position to continue my learning and advancement in my tech career. I am enthusiastic about embracing new challenges and contributing my skills to a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and innovation.
