About Me
My Background
Before moving to the U.S., I was a full-time Latin dance and Zumba instructor in Saigon, Vietnam. I ran a successful dance studio and held various administrative positions. In 2016, I decided to start afresh in the U.S., pursuing a degree in Computer Science while teaching dance part-time in Orange County, Long Beach, and Los Angeles. I also trained under renowned dance masters from around the world.
My Dance Life
I am currently directing Unico Dance Company, where we share dancing wisdom and rejoice mindful movement. Additionally, I hold the role of a resident instructor at OC Salsa in Costa Mesa. At OC Salsa, I am responsible for designing and leading the Advanced class program for adults. I thoroughly enjoy teaching group classes and providing private coaching to students who are seeking individualized improvement and growth in their dance skills.
My Engineer Life
I proudly graduated from CSULB in May 2023, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Not long after my graduation, I joined Melissa Data Corporation as Software Engineer Intern. Then I moved forward to the full-time position after the internship ended. I enjoy coding, problem solving, and all sorts of solutions to optimize our daily tasks as well as company's products.
